Aceitoso is inspired by an image that shows the oil spill that took place in 2022 in Thailand, near the island of Ko Samet. Having traveled to Thailand myself, this photograph shocked me. Usually, it is a beautiful island and it is now closed due to this disaster... The experts who worked on cleaning up the waters estimated between 20,000 and 50,000 liters of oil spilled following the pipeline leak.
