Inspired by spring, Vanessa wanted to create a soft and refreshing artwork. Its pill shape was the source of inspiration. This cherry panel was custom designed by a Montreal woodmaker. Wanting to preserve the beauty of the wood, she decided to paint only a third of the canvas, giving a raw and natural side to the work. An interesting depth is created as we can still see small pieces of wood, even under the many layers of acrylic.
